1. Who We Are

ApplyDream (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the ApplyDream web application at staging.applydream.in and the ApplyDream Chrome Extension. Our service automates job applications on behalf of users using AI.

2. Information We Collect

a) Profile Information

To fill job applications on your behalf, we collect: name, email, phone number, address, work experience, education, LinkedIn URL, resume (PDF/DOCX), and job preference data (salary, location, visa status). This data is provided voluntarily by you during profile setup.

b) Job Application Data

We store the job URLs you submit, application status, and outcomes (submitted, failed, etc.).

c) Gmail Access (Optional)

If you choose to connect Gmail, we request read-only access solely to read email verification codes sent by job sites during the application process. We do not read, store, or process any other emails. Gmail access can be revoked at any time from your profile settings.

d) Chrome Extension

The ApplyDream Chrome Extension stores your API key locally in chrome.storage.local on your device. It reads the URL of the active tab only when you open the extension popup on a supported job site. It does not track your browsing history or collect data from non-job pages.

e) Usage Data

We collect basic usage logs (API request timestamps, error codes) for debugging and service improvement. We do not sell this data.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To automatically fill and submit job applications on your behalf
  • To show you application status and history in the dashboard
  • To read email verification codes during application flows (Gmail only, if connected)
  • To improve our AI agent's accuracy and reliability

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information. Your API key acts as your authentication token - keep it private. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth - for optional Gmail connection (governed by Google's Privacy Policy)
  • Vercel - for hosting the web application

6. Chrome Extension - Permissions Justification

  • storage - to save your API key locally on your device
  • activeTab - to read the current tab's URL when you open the popup
  • tabs - to detect when you're on a supported job site

The extension only activates on supported job sites (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, SuccessFactors). It does not run on any other websites.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time:

  • Access or update your profile data at staging.applydream.in/profile
  • Disconnect Gmail from your profile settings
  • Delete your account and all data from Settings
  • Contact us to request data export or deletion
